So, I have been working on a few websites… and tonight I am working on a silly site for AM sports radio… anyway, I was randomly scrolling through my music and clicked on In Flames… I've really grown to dislike them and I don't really wear their shirts as much any more… but they got me into European metal. Tonight I started with Lunar Strain, and listened to everything up until Clayman… This was an awesome band… just melodic and good. Kinda makes their newer stuff suck even more… but I haven't listened to their old stuff in a long while… glad I did… I forgot what I used to like about them… Anyone else had an experience like this… where you go back and listen to the old work and remember how good a "sell-out" band used to be? Haha, if I remember correctly, that's the band you showed me that recruited some shitty singer, right? |

I've been doing it with Moonspell recently. Of course, their newer CDs aren't that bad, but it can't compare to Wolfheart.. Nothing they've ever released could. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nkOlo96ji3g I don't know if it would be considered a "sell-out" band, but they've definately changed, considering I see a lot of trendy type mall kids wearing Moonspell shirts. Probably because they heard the song "Luna" and thought it was awesome or something. |
