Ah! How I love myself some doom! I just wish there would be more bands that would have these heavy sludgy riffs without dropping the atmosphere proper to Doom metal!

Well, that's what Peasant by the sludge doom metal band Thou is all about. Heavy, dirty and fucking sludgy riffs, complemented by very fine black metal vocals. Make sure to give this one a listen…just uploaded the first song of the album to my Youtube account;

I love it. Still getting into doom metal, but i love the guitar and atmosphere of it. That album art is creepy as hell though
