If you could assemble some people into the ultimate metal band, who would you choose. ill start

This would probably be a death/thrash band

Chigrel Glanzmann – Vocals
Tony Iommi – Guitars
Kerry King – Guitars
Steve DiGiorgio – Bass
Janne Parviainen – Drums

obviously, i mean he already has those br00tal feet from wearing those damn sandals. he'd be a better kick drummer than George Kollias.

oh man… this should be for each category… because I have a favorite in just about every category… but a tech death drummer might not sound good with a melodic black metal guitarist…

I kind of imagine thor as a bassist. I think i mentioned this but my dad really wanted to name me thor. that would have been pretty cool

^ Big fucking band, but if it worked, I think it would be an AMAZING combo.

ok… I'll start with death metal:

Vocals: Hegg (Amon Amarth)
Guitar 1: Michael Keene (the faceless)
Guitar 2: Nick Cordle (arsis)
drums: Arkadiusz "Maly" Sinica (trauma)
bass: Stefan Fimmers (necrophagist)

I am sure there are better in most categories… but none can top Hegg on vocals or Maly on drums.

I'll come up with black or folk metal ideas later.
