Bitter Frost: Do Not Miss This
Bitter Frost is the musical project of Christopher A. Erikson. This debut release was six years in the making and featured a slew of guest vocalists: Sean Peck (Cage), Anthony Prechtl (Diadem), Stacy Rugley (Oplexicon), Joe Onweller (Con), Dorian Bell (Evighet Av Aske), Dan Morris (Gannondorf). As for the music, here is some info ripped from the website:
6 Years in the Making; the Debut album for Bitter Frost. A Black Metal Opera featuring 7 different vocalists spanning over 106 minutes. The album features many different styles of Metal built on the common foundation of Black Metal. Power Metal vocals in a Black Metal song, Blackened Jazz, Viking Metal, Satanic Black Metal and much more. Also featuring technical guitar riffs/solos and plenty of Orchestration. Included is the Oplexicon suite; Raw Black Metal with plenty of of aggression and blast beats. Great for those with a taste for the extreme. A grim and frostbitten album produced by Swedish musician Christopher Erikson in his sunny California Studio.
You can download this album by naming your own price on the band’s website. If you just grab the regular album (only 13 tracks) you can name any price. If you want the entire 21 song “special edition” the minimum purchase price is $5 (extremely reasonable considering this took six years to make). Check it out here: http://bitterfrost.bandcamp.com/album/special-edition-download It came out on April 1st, so I am a little late with this.
